Tires play a unique role in providing safe mobility as they are the only connection between the vehicle and the road. The friction between tires and the road surface, critical to vehicle safety and performance, generates what are defined as “tire and road wear particles” (TRWP).

We are pleased to share the white paper produced by the WBCSD’s Tire Industry Project to strengthen awareness and align on current TRWP knowledge, but most importantly, to share the industry’s commitment to TRWP mitigation and its vision for future management.
