Australian Tyre Industry Council (ATIC)
ATIC is a pro-active, not-for-profit organization of major tire related topics in Australia, a significant source of statistical, volume and factual information about tires and a major player in the search for effective solutions for end-of-life tires.
The mission of ATIC is to build and enhance the credibility, professionalism and public perception of the Australian tire industry.
ATIC’s aim is to be recognised as a united Industry whose culture is pro-active and innovative in dealing with the technical, commercial and environmental challenges of the Third Millennium.
Automotive Tyre Manufacturers’ Association (ATMA) India
The Automotive Tyre Manufacturers’ Association (ATMA) India is amongst the most active and well known national industry bodies in India. Being a representative body of eight large tire companies in India accounting for over 90% of tire production, ATMA has been accorded the coveted status of true voice of the Indian tire industry
ATMA works towards promoting and safeguarding the interests of the tire industry in India primarily by acting as conduit between the Government and the industry. The Association strives to be an active participant in policy making process and holds frequent meetings with the Government departments to discuss the challenges being faced by the industry in the ever-changing economic environment.
The Association acts as the industry’s interface with the media, opinion leaders, NGOs and other Industry associations around the world so as to present the perspective of Indian tire industry on different issues.
British Tyre Manufacturers’ Association (BTMA)
The British Tyre Manufacturers’ Association (BTMA) represents tire manufacturers and retreaders supplying the UK market from factories in Europe.
BTMA engages actively with government, stakeholders and the media to progress issues ranging from road safety to sustainability and from international competitiveness to employee health and safety.
BTMA members supply over half of the tyres on UK roads and are committed to further improving road safety and reducing the environmental impact of road transport.
BTMA actively co-operates with other UK tire industry trade associations though the Tyre Industry Federation and is an affiliate member of the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders. BTMA is also a strong supporter of TyreSafe, the road safety charity.
European Tyre and Rubber Manufacturers Association (ETRMA)
The European Tyre and Rubber Manufacturers Association (ETRMA) represents the regulatory and related interests of the European tire and rubber manufacturers at both the European and international level. ETRMA is involved in continuous dialogue with EU and international institutions, national agencies and other industry sectors.
As the voice of tire and rubber goods producers in Europe, ETRMA activities focus on representing, communicating and promoting the industry to policymakers, as well as providing technical advice for its members.
Japan Automobile Tyre Manufacturers Association (JATMA)
The Japan Automobile Tyre Manufacturers Association (JATMA) works to contribute to the development of the tire industry and the economy and the overall improvement of Japan.
JATMA conducts research on the production, distribution, consumption and trade of automobile tires, including, automobile tires, off-road tires, industrial tires, and tires for agricultural vehicles and machines.
JATMA also develops and promotes policies concerning human and environmental health and safety.
Korea Tire Manufacturers Association (KOTMA)
The Korea Tire Manufacturers Association (KOTMA) is a non-profit organization, representing the interests of tire & tube makers in Korea.
KOTMA contributes to promote the sustainable development of the Korean tire & tube manufacturing industry and the Korean national economy.
Tire and Rubber Association of Canada (TRAC)
The Tire and Rubber Association of Canada (TRAC) is the Canadian trade association representing the interests of tire and other rubber manufacturers and importers of rubber goods into Canada, together with rubber recyclers and suppliers whose goods and services directly relate to the industry.
As the national trade association, the Association strengthens and protects the reputation and competitiveness of the Canadian tire and rubber industry, with focus on government relations, sustainability, public education, industry data and networking.
U.S. Tire Manufacturers Association (USTMA)
The U.S. Tire Manufacturers Association (USTMA) is the national trade association for tire manufacturers that produce tires in the United States. USTMA members operate 57 facilities in 17 states, are responsible for more than 291,000 jobs and have an annual economic footprint of $170.6 billion.
USTMA works to strengthen the competitiveness, societal impact and reputation of the U.S. tire manufacturing industry.

Comply with WBCSD membership criteria
Be committed to address global sustainability
Have an international presence beyond their home region
Have annual sales that surpass USD 1 Billion
Have defined corporate environmental, health and safety, and other social and governance goals
