Louisa Ospital

Louisa Ospital is a PhD candidate at CIRAIG laboratory and Polytechnique Montréal, Canada. Her research centers on evaluating the potential environmental and human health impacts of TRWPs for their integration in the Life Cycle Assessment framework as a microplastic emission to the environment. Last year in Munich, she presented an inventory model for TRWPs, which was parameterized and regionalized to provide context-specific estimates of emissions. This time, our focus shifts further along the life cycle pathway to assess the environmental fate of the emitted particles.
