Christoph Hueglin

Christoph Hueglin is a senior scientist with expertise in atmospheric science and heads the Ambient Air Quality group in the Laboratory of Air Pollution and Environmental Technology at the Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology (Empa). He is responsible for the operation of the Swiss National Air Pollution Monitoring Network (NABEL) and is representing Switzerland in the European Network of Air Quality Reference Laboratories AQUILA. His main research interests lie in the statistical analysis of air quality data, including the source attribution of atmospheric particulate matter and ultrafine particles, and for some years also in the investigation of microplastics and tire wear particles in the environment.
