Dimitrios Kontses
Dimitris Kontses studied mechanical engineering at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece in the field of internal combustion engines and exhaust emissions. He continued with his PhD studies at the Laboratory of Applied Thermodynamics at the same University focusing on developing a soot sensor for on-board diagnostics (OBD) system for Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) failure detection. Over the last 6 years he is working as project manager on the field of non-exhaust emissions, zero-emission vehicle technologies and life-cycle emission assessments. He has also operated at the intersection of technology and vehicle emission-related legislation supporting the development of on-board monitoring (OBM) and anti-tampering requirements for Euro 7.
