Diego Rodriguez holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM). He is currently a researcher in the Department of Chemical Engineering of Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM), working as a member of the MicroWater-ITACA research group. His general research focuses on the separation and degradation of microplastics, specifically utilizing advanced oxidation processes (AOPs) for the latter. Currently, his work centers on investigating the degradation mechanisms of tire wear particles (TWPs) through oxidation processes.
